The manga series Pokémon Journeys comes to an end.

Manga was first published in 2019; the first book was published by Viz Media in November.

On Friday, the final chapter of Machito Gomi's Pokémon Journeys: The Series (Pocket Monsters: Satoshi to G no Monogatari) manga was released in the November issue of Shogakukan's Coro Coro Comics magazine. The fourth volume of the manga will be released on November 26.

The manga is based on the anime Pokémon Journeys: The Series. The manga has been licenced by Viz Media, and the first volume will be released on November 9. The following is how the firm defines the manga:

Ash returns in exciting adventures set in several locales of the best-selling Pokémon video games!

When Ash and Pikachu board the Legendary Pokémon Lugia, they learn there's another kid on board! Meet Goh, who is on a mission to capture every Pokémon ever created, including Mew!

Can Ash and Goh realise their grandiose ambitions?

In December 2019, Gomi debuted the manga in Coro Coro Comics. On July 28, Shogakukan released the manga's third volume.

In November 2019, Pokémon Journeys: The Series premiered in Japan on TV Tokyo and its affiliates, two days after the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games were released globally. In June 2020, Netflix released the first 12 episodes of the anime in the United States, with subsequent episodes added on a quarterly basis. In May 2020, the anime aired on Teletoon, a Canadian television channel.

Netflix said in February that the latest batch of episodes that began streaming on March 5 will be the final episodes of the Pokémon Journey series.

On September 10, Netflix released Pokémon Master Journeys: The Series, the 24th season of the Pokémon anime.
