Another cinematic trailer for the Suicide Squad game has been released – this time, it's in-game.

As part of DC Fandome this weekend, we got another peek at Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, but if you were hoping for more than a new cinematic trailer, you should be prepared to be disappointed. This time around, the new teaser appears to be made entirely of in-game footage, but it's all cinematics, and we still don't know anything about how the game will play.

While last year's teaser showed us an ostensibly wicked Superman, the new video shows us how developer Rocksteady envisions the rest of the Justice League. The Flash appears to be impacted by whatever ailment Superman is suffering from, but Wonder Woman appears to be unaffected. Green Lantern (the John Stewart version) is also present, though it's difficult to identify his alignment in the trailer pictures.

The trailer is notable for the absence of Batman, though the Penguin makes an appearance. (An earlier teaser screen also hinted at Lex Luthor making a cameo.) Debra Wilson, who has also provided her appearance and performance to games like Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus and Star Wars: Jedi – Fallen Order, plays Amanda Waller, a less well-known superheroic representative of the DC world.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S and X in 2022.
